Has am waiting for MichealK to see whether your in the right place, but according to me you can use indesign for layout as you getting effects form Fireworks and AI cos the reason of using Idd is that its to heavy like IA the one i would have suggested

    Thanx

    normedia,

I would suggest your using Illustrator for more advanced artwork; creating vector artwork, you may work in any scale of your choice (if you remember to set possible raster effects to a sufficient resolution).

What is the template supposed to fit?

    http://www.cadlink.com/products/ddw/index.php

Check them out, they may have the Opel you're looking for.  I'd use Illustrator.

    1) Use Illustrator

    2) Buy or get the wrap template for that vehicle.

Create your banner in InDesign, set your page dims to 1.8 metres x 1.3 metres.  Use PS and AI as needed.

The company printing and wrapping the vehicle will more likely than not require a .eps or .ai file. Call and ask them. They may also have the template for the vehicle you need.

Use PS for imaging, AI for illustrations and bring it all together in ID.  Export to PDF, from InDesign ... PDFs are more ubiquitous than anything.

Surely Adobe has a MAC software, addition to a program for MAC.

You cannot buy or get the wrap template for that vehicle and the sign people do not want to buy, sell you one as they want the work, ... not designers.

I disagree with the rating of Helpful Answer by John Danek

as this is only for PC not MAC

Perhaps adobe can post a solution or someone else has a MAC solution?
