Hi, You'll need to post your operating system, browsers used and versions. What version of Flash Player do you have Installed?

    Thanks,

MIne is doing the same thing and it has spread to other sites as well. I am running it on firefox, the latest version, and I deleted and redownloaded the adobe flahsplayer.  It is still crashing.  What is up with this?  Is there another company that I can use to access my games so I don't have to use this system, because  you don't seem to really care that it's happening.  There are a plethora of complaints about this problem and nothing seems to be happening.

Hi tiffany, thanks. Using FF(Firefox) and in the plug-ins, find the SWF vs 10.1.53.64 and make sure it is Enabled. That is always the first thing to do when there is any problem with Firefox and Flash Player. That is the Control that works with the Flash Player files that are Installed. It must be there and must be Enabled.

In order to make sure that your Flash files are correct, if you are using a 32bit operating system of Windows, then you

would go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash  Open Flash and post back all files listed there. The files NPSWF will need a right click and then click on Properties in order to obtain the version numbers.

Post that info back. I always like to confirm that the Flash files and that SWF are correct before doing anything else.

    Thanks,

P.S. Those procedures apply to the Windows operating system, using the 32bit. If you have a 64bit operating system the path to the Flash files is different.

What version of Firefox do you use?  If it's 3.6.4, disabling the new "hang detector" may fix your problem:

    • type about:config into the address bar
    • click I'll be careful ...
    • scroll down to dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs
    • double-click on it, then set the new value to -1

    Adobe Flash Player2.jpg

Well dont think that pic worked so well. Anyway Flash player is crashing continuously. Im running 32-bit windows 7, Firefox, and have version 10.1.85.3

Can you please tell me what I can do or change on my system so that this stops happening? It never happened until Firefox started the plug-in container. So I don't know if its an issue with that, my computer or and issue with flash player. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

    What is your Firefox version?

Have you tried to disable Hardware Acceleration (Flash Player Settings)?

    Hi

I'm having the same problem - I've used every browser there is and flash will not work with the browser or in facebook on many of the games - it freezes, crashes and locks me out of the games - I have to turn off the computer to get the computer to start again - between IE8 and flash it's a mess - I even tried the new fix and it still won't work - I'm begining to think adobe does not know how to fix the program -- and why come out with a new version before it's perfected?

Hi there, i am also having issues with firefox and flashplayer. Whenever i try to watch news videos on the Yahoo news site it displays the pre-advert before the news, but then hangs and crashes freezing the entire browser. I have tried the -1 tip above but it hasn't had any effect and i'm not experienced enough with computers to risk finding and changing system files.

EDIT - The same is happening in IE too, it will play the pre-ad but the actual content i want to see just sits there loading forever and never plays.
