Hi.
I have a problem where every time i close flash normally (it's not crashing) and fire it up again, my timeline panel is missing. I have to press ctrl+alt+t or window>timeline to bring it up again and reposition it. What's going on here?
Thanks.
I just tried "reset workspace". It works, but then if i quit flash and restart the program, ... still no timeline. I must have to reset workspace
each time... I get this problem 100% of the time in Flash.
I also get this problem in Bridge sometimes but not all the time. I lose my rightside panels in the 'essentials' view and cannot "uncollapse" them, so i need to reset the workspace there.
A possible related issue - if Photoshop, my one panel always reverts to the middle of the screen when i minimize the program. If I change the position of the panel (layers i think) and minimize, maximize, its back to the middle of the screen. anoying...
Sounds like something may have gotten messed up in a revision of the workspace you're working with. I wonder if you switch to a separate default workspace that doesn't have this problem (ie: one that you do not need to reset), and then modify that to your needs. Then restart Flash and see if the timeline remains.
