PDF will not plot

I have a plotting problem.  I cannot plot PDFs to our network HP1050c plotter.  Others on the network can plot PDFs to the HP1050c so it is specific to my machine.  I can plot PDFs to other printers so the problem is specific to the way my machine communicates with the HP1050c Plotter.  We plot wide format, (up to 36X48), drawings.  Has anyone run into this problem before.  I am using Adobe Reader.
