Soundbooth hangs and won't launch

Running on Win XP with 500GB HD. I must uninstall and reinstall in order for the program to open! What's up with this?

    I had a similar problem - turns out it was a conflicting service.  I started msconfig and deselected all non windows services.  On reboot Soundbooth worked.  Then one by one I enabled the services and booted with just the selected services until soundbooth no longer started.  I identified Stardock Windowblinds as the service that was conflicting.  I am using MyColor which uses Stardock Windowblinds to  wrap each window in a theme.  In my My Color, I told Stardock Windowblinds to ignore my adobe apps.  That solved the problem.
