Trying to add a file extension to dreamweaver

Jul 13, 2010 1:03 AM

Hi all,

I have read the doc http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/164/tn_16410.html

that discussed how to add a extension.

The extension I am trying to add is

.ss (which is a content management template file type)

I've added ss to the extension.txt file and mmDocumentTypes.xml but still it does not show up on the file types list from dreamweaver.

Any help would be great

Where is it you are expecting to see this?

I believe that's an OS function, but I could be wrong.  At any rate, you will surely see the *.ss files if you select ALL FILES in that list, no?

I'm not optimistic on your being able to change this, but good luck!
