This may be related to the problems others are having with the slide show widget.
I have inserted the widget into several pages of the website I'm working on.
When I look at the pages in "live" view, slide show is working well.
When I press F12 to look at it "online" I get the images only, vertically aligned, no slide show.
I haven't uploaded it to the website - I have a temporary site in place at present.
I have removed and reloaded the spry slideshow from "My Widgets" and made a new page, with the newly downloaded widget (hoping to get rid of any corrupted files). Still the same problem.
I don't want to remove the slide show - it really makes the pages come alive - but my husband is anxious for the website to go live......
Thanks for any help you can give me.
I have only tried it in Windows 7. Message was edited by: EAGil
Sounds like you are not uploading all the dependent javascript and css files to your site. Make sure that you are uploading all of the dependent files if you are using dreamweaver click "Yes to the upload dependent files" button. Some other people have been bitten by a corrupted .js file which results in JS errors so re-upload if you are experiencing JS errors.

I have reloaded the widget several times. Tried it with the "China" images, without altering anything. Then changed one at a time. Sometimes it works and others not. But it seems to have some relation to the number of images - seems to like an odd number! However it seems to be working and so \i'm not complaining!
