I cannot find Variations in either 64 or 32 bit PS CS5 for the Mac. My PC friends say it is where it belongs in both, in the Adjustments menu.
What happened to it?
Adjustment>Variations is listed but grayed out for 16 bit images or when you are using Photoshop in 64 bit mode, the option is completely unlisted. Translation...you can only have Adjustment>Variations available for 8 bit images in 32 bit Photoshop mode.
I cannot fine the variation option either, I tried changing to different modes and channel bit sizes and nothing...now what do I do? This options just doesn"t show at all grayed or otherwise.

I recently did a clean install of everything on a MBPro. I only use 8-bit images. I am in the 32-bit kernel. Variations is NOT in the Adjustments submenu.
But, if I Get Info on Photoshop and check the Open in 32-bit mode, "Variations" appears and works. I have not tried this in the 64-bit kernel. But, why should it not work there too.
