With 2.x you could have a watched folder being autoimported while a slideshow was playing, and any new pictures being imported would only make the slideshow jerky while the pictures were imported, and then they would automatically play. With 3.2, pictures imported while the slideshow is running only play in the preview window. The full slideshow on the second monitor ignores any newly loaded pictures that came in while the slideshow was running. I have the preview set to include all filmstrip photos, but it is only the preview that seems to pay attention to this.
It's a bit of an esoteric issue, since I only use it for marketing reasons. When we have an open house, we do photo shoots and want to have a slideshow running. With wireless transfer from the camera to a watched folder, we could have Lightroom 2.x do our live slideshow as we shot, fully automatically.
Perhaps there is other software I should be using?
Hi,
Thanks for confirming this.
I had earlier started a thread about this here :

At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but like you, I noticed that version 2 did behave as expected.
Why this behaviour has changed, I don't know, but I suspect it is a bug.
I'm just evaluating Lightroom so I have no idea how to report this bug to adobe. Do you know if there is a bugreporter tool available ?
