Hi,
I imported a JPEG from the camera with Lightroom CS5 on my PC, opened it in Photoshop CS5 (open copy with Lightroom changes) and saved it again without any changings. There were no changes in Lightroom as well. When I open it in Fireworks CS4 (Vers. 10.0.3.011) on the second PC the red color has changed to brown. I use Fireworks on a different PC (WIN 7 Pro). Microsoft Picture Viewer shows the right colors. If I open the original or a copy without "Lightroom changings" the colors are correct. Does Lightroom writes informations to the JPEG which is not supported by Fireworks CS4? Did somebody same experiences? Thankx for help!
Yves
Thank you for your answer. I saved the photos as RGB 8 Bits per channel with ICC Profile ProPhoto RGB - as in the settings configured. This profile shows the right colors on my PC, but not on the other using Fireworks. If I save it with sRGB the red colour turns to brown, if I save it without colour management the colour changes to brown as well. (Just tested on my PC)
Fireworks does not support color profiles because most browsers do not support color profiles. You need to create your images without a profile or export them converted. (Even if you have a browser that supports color profiles, you don't want to have navigation images with profiles, as the colors in them won't match any CSS colors you may set.)
