I am gettting quite a few errors when importing - too many to take note of. Is there a log file that I can examine after importing?

There isn't any such log file generated by organizer. However, the error message which comes after the import dialog box are usually self-explanatory.
What kind of images are you trying to import?
Also, keep if mind that if an image with the same filename already exists in organizer, it's not gonna import the desired image even if it's a different one but has the same name.
That's unfortunate. I know I have some duplicate file names, in different folders, and I was concerned that they were not all being imported. I was making a new catalog and was importing some 55K files. This is going to be a big problem for me to identify and rename the duplicates so I can get them imported.
