Oct 11, 2010 3:27 PM

I see the packager is updated...will the packager in Flash CS5 also be updated through the Application Manager?

I had to download it old school style and then rename the old PFI folder PFI-old and the drag the unzipped folder over and rename that PFI. Adobe confused me by writing that a PFI folder would unzipped but it's just the container title of packager. Seems to work as normal and it's a tiny update for the iOS.

Oh make sure you have the latest update 11.0.2 or later.

The update allowed me to submit apps through the Application Loader without getting a "This bundle is invalid, Apple is not accepting apps built with this version of the sdk"

Great to see an update for that... Still waiting on retina support and better sound channel performance

To note, It made my default.png  zoom ultra size when it was finished loading. Anyone else get that?

Scott, is there somewhere being mentioned allready that packager will be changed for retina resolution ?

It's such a pitty to have 960x640 at your fingertips and then see a 480x320 image being stretched on it.

    Regards,

    Bart

No, the current version DOES NOT support Retina Display. The newest update gives fixes to allow app submission.

I was merely noting that it would not be difficult to implement in a future update.

    Sorry for any confusion/high hopes

Let us hope that it will be added soon.

480x320 isn't bad, but its ugly if you know you look at it on a retina display.

Also, on android, you get nicely 800x480 without problems (but android probably doesn't use tricks, just plan resolution)

    Regards,
