InDesign to PDF issues

Hi - I am a sales rep at a printing company - we are working on a project and have encountered an issue. Our client created files in InDesign, and the product images have a visible keyline around them, but when we export the files to a X1A PDF ( for our workflow), part of the keyline disappears only on the right side. It is there in the original Photoshop file, and the InDesign file, but not on the PDF. We ran a test plate and it is not there either. It is not happening with all the images, just some. My prep dept is not sure what is going on, and the only option we have is to manually add a stroke to those items in the In Design file. does anyone have an idea of another solution? thanks

    What if you print directly from within InDesign. Do you see the line on your printout?

    Thanks for your reply - when my client printed their lasers, the

    keylines showed up, but we need to make PDFs to create our final proofs

    and plates for printing, and they disappeared on the PDFs. Thanks
