What I’m trying to do: Adding Notes while Reviewing Captivate Projects (Using a Solo Review to Edit Adobe Captivate Projects Faster)
Problem: When I try to load the .crev file into AdobeCaptivateReviewer.air, I get this error dialog box: “Loading failed. User does not have required privileges. Ensure that the user is part of application owner group.”
What settings do I need to make to give myself the required privileges and to become part of the application owner group?
My Specs: Mac OS X, Adobe Captivate 5 for Mac, Ceptivate Reviewer.air (ver 2.0)
Thanks in advance from an eager and grateful Captivate 5 beginner. ![]()
Hi There,

I tried the approach in the article without any luck. Once I got to the section "Add users as members the the application group" I keyed in the code and then it asked for a pasword. At that point, Terminal would not let me key anything in. Looks like this thread is more than a year old. Does anyone have a fix that is clearer or simpler than this one? Or can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
