TODD, the Case Number was Case #0181850789: Not able to update 5.0.2 premiere procs5
I couldn't quite get his name, but he was the last of the several techs I contacted on this
case#. Of course the tech before him passed me on to him, as he had a different specialty,
but he deserves some credit too for knowing who to pass me too. My contact with
both was today, Nov 1.
In step 6, I chose the retail DVD version, went through the install process and, once again, it went through all the motions of installing but ended with the message that it had failed to update. I'm not sure I should try the Electronic Downloads version since there must be some reason for having two different update versions.
At least for me, the question has not been answered - for the boxed retail version.
Hi AllanC10; You are most welcome. I think those that did not succeed
weren't
following the exact directions.
Meanwhile, though I have PP 5.0.2, the Adobe Updater tells me that
5.0.2 needs updating (to 5.0.2), but the update fails. I hope it's all
different when we get to PP 5.0.3!!
