Can't import Reader Extensions Certificate

Nov 2, 2010 7:53 AM

I'm using the Virtual appliance to evaluate LiveCycle and I'm unable to import the Reader Extensions certificate.  I browse to Trust Store Management>certificates, type in an Alias, browse to the Trial .pfx file I downloaded and click import.  Then a message appears saying "invalid certificate".  Any ideas on what the problem is?

Please try the Reader Extensions Credential from here:

The Reader Extensions credential is a .pfx file (with an accompanying .txt file that contains the credential's password).  Document Signing credentials can be .cer  So please make sure that in the 'Trust Store Type' section, the checkbox for "Reader Extensions Credential" is checked before you import.

You are attempting the import from Settings->Trust Store Management->Local Credentials right?
