Also, if you use the Lens Profile Creator tool to upload the profiles (i.e., send profile to Adobe), then users with the new Lens Profile Downloader utility will be able to find it.

Hi Cory,

I have downloaded it, thanks.

I am not sure if fits that well using the D300s, at least vignetting is beeing over adjusted at 12 mm. If I use a setting of about 80, than it is ok.

The aberrations are corrected quite good, so I probably will use it till I get something better.

Agreed, there is too much vignetting correction at 12mm with this profile (I usually crank it down to 50%); that's partially why I made the comment about other people creating their own profiles from their own lenses. It's likely not a camera body issue, but standard lens variation. But yes, as you said, Paul's profile is great for abberations and good for this lens' minimal distortion as well.

Just downloaded a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 D90 profile using Profile Downloader. However, in Auto mode Lightroom always default to the Nikon 12-24 profile.

Took a look at the EXIF data and it seems only the lens data (focal length and aperture) is included, but the maker is not. Is that why?

I know it's possible to configure LR to use the Tokina profile as default. But what if one has both lens? (just curious)

One may find several profiles of this lens by using the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader available here...

It's an AIR application so if you don't have it...

As a reminder the profile should be able to be found here in message 34 on this thread .
