When reporting an issue, please give the following information:
- operating system (Mac OSX v10.6.4? v10.6.3?)
- hardware specifics (e.g., CPU, RAM, sound hardware)
- audio plug-ins installed
- anything else that you think might be useful (More information is almost always better than less.)
A bug report for each plug-in is helpful because that way we can analyze, test, and hopefully fix them individually.
After a bug report has been submitted, posting the specific plug-in names would be helpful; that way other people who are having a problem with a specific plug-in can see that it is a known issue. Or, more importantly, if a specific plug-in is working for someone else, then we can figure out what the differences are that cause it to crash for someone, but not for someone else.
If you do encounter a crash, please enter in a description of what was happening if/when the Crash Reporter window pops up. There's usually a crash reporter for Apple that comes up:
