Serbian characters are not included in most of the fonts in Adobe products and its bad for creativity. I wonder what can I do to change this? Where to start? Any advice?
Most fonts which comes with Photoshop doesnt have those characters which are basic for writing in Serbian, on second hand is included Pristina font, Pristina is biggest city in province of Serbia, which wants to separate. This is not forum for politics and you don't have to care about it but these are facts. Also try to find font in InDesign with those characters š, đ, č, ć, ž there are only few. I can not complain about that fact probably it is the fault of the country where I live and its politicians, but I wonder what I can do to change this situation.
Again, which fonts in particular?
We don't ship many fonts with Photoshop, and we want to make sure that we are talking about the right fonts.
You're right, I don't care about the politics, but please just tell me which fonts are missing which glyphs.
If you just keep hand waving, we won't be able to do anything about it.
We need specifics to present to our type team so they can fix the problems and we can verify the problem and solution.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, trying to restore my country where her place and that I am now completely alone. Adobe products are among the top achievements of time in which we live. For now, we have in Serbia a little behind when the great achievements are concerned, we do not have a quality site or any association that would ensure that follow up and I'll try to change that. I made a group on Google Groups that aims to bring people together in an association that brought together users of Photoshop (and other Adobe products) and took care to provide quality training in their native language as well as links to books, video training, the institution through which can come to a certificate to work with this program and all that can be found on the Internet and concerns primarily Photoshop. I have installed many fonts on my computer so I am not quite sure which fonts ships with Adobe products, I apologize for that, perhaps more important than that to include Serbian Cyrillic and Serbian Latin in bid. I'm trying to animate people to use Adobe products and all they can to facilitate them and convince them to me makes it easier.

Hello Bojan.
Just few fonts from your list can be found on Adobe Font Folio 11 (http://www.adobe.com/products/fontfolio/). So, Adobe cannot held responsible for characters included in Character map. But, Mr. Cox knows that far better.
What you have to do is to directly contact creators of these fonts and ask them to include Serbian characters, but before you do that, you have to have licence's for these fonts also, which I hope you do. From time that I remember, there always was trouble with Serbian special characters, and we even modified existing fonts to make them usable.
There are some things already happening here in Serbia regarding education and stuff.
Take a look here: http://www.indesignusergroup.com/chapters/subotica/
Yes, it's not Photoshop ![]()
Also, take a look here: http://indisnip.wordpress.com/
All made in Serbia ![]()
Hope that helps.

Greetings from Serbia,

Yeah, most of those are not Adobe fonts and don't come with the Creative Suite or Photoshop.
Right now, it appears that only our most recent fonts have complete Serbian glyphs:
Garamond Premier Pro, Hypatia Sans Pro, Arno Pro, Minion Pro, Myriad Pro, Sava Pro, and Warnock Pro.
Our type team has said that all of our fonts going forward will have Serbian glyphs.
Your kindness has inspired me to write this article

. Although we do not understand Serbian language, you can translate it into
Google.
