deactivate Mac then activate Win?

It seems referenced on other posts, but I'm still unclear. Can I deactivate a valid Win CS5 product (Flash) and activate it on Mac (for example, the Mac has an expired trial version installed). Or are there different serial numbers on Mac and Win?
