I started using photoshop.com a few years ago, then stopped. I just received photoshop elements 9 for christmas and wanted to know, how can I change the url of my gallery?
Hi 'emilyygraceee'
Actually, we can change your personal vanity URL. However, the new internal tool we developed to change URLs creates a minor issue with sharing old albums, which we haven't yet ironed out. The work-around is easy. I will send you a private message elaborating on the details, and can change the URL for you.

Hi there
is there any chance i could be sent details of how to change url name foe my personal gallery etc, as would like too before i get going proper. Also can anyone tell me just how i can find other peoples public galleries to view their work as i am going around in circles here and getting no where fast
thanks
Hi 'capturingthelight'
The ability to help users change their personal URLs for Photoshop.com is offline, and I don't know when to expect it to come back online. FYI, the steps I previously sent people off-list involved getting their personal account details, which are best kept private. But generally the info we requested was to give us alternate URLs you'd like, and also to email the request from your email account directly instead of using the forums messaging tool.
To answer your other question, you must be view an invitation to find shared galleries. We do not support browsing of random strangers' galleries.
I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE THE URL
I called Adobe and they reset my email address for the Photoshop Gallery account I created. I was then able to recreate the account with the correct URL using my same email address and password. Everything seems OK with the Gallery account (photoshop.com).
When I came back here (adobe.com) to reply to this Forum it asked me for my screen name and when I typed it in it said already being used and it did not let me sign in to this Forum. After deleting all my Browsing History (and I do mean all, passwords, etc.) I am able to write this reply. I have not yet tested my Photoshop Gallery, etc. after deleting my Browsing History, but if you don't here from me, all is well.
One thing I don't like about this Forum is it don't let you copy and paste?
O'well, when I started Photoshop Elements 9 the welcome screen kept saying "Gathering Info". I called tech support and they said I have 2 accounts, so they deleted 1 and then I could'nt sign into photoshop.com or adobe.com. I then changed my password and was able to get into photoshop.com and adobe.com. And to fix the welcome screen I just had to sign out of Orginizer in the Photoshop Elements 9 program and restart the program (all the links are now back on the bottom of the welcome screen).
Now it seems like all is well and my URL was changed. If you need to change your URL, all I can say is "GOOD LUCK !!!".
