PRE9 and support for 1080P video

Does PRE9 recognize 1080P for import and export to YouTube and disc burn?  Thanks, L.

    Yes, assuming it's from an AVCHD or HDV camcorder and that it is not 50p or 60p.

     

    What model of camcorder is this video coming from?

    This is a Panasonic HDC-TM700

    Full HD 1920 X 1080 60P

    AVCHD Format

    We're seeing a lot of reports of problems with that camcorder lately.

     

    The problem is that, for some reason, Panasonic has designed it to record as 50p or 60p rather than the standard 50i or 60i. This makes it incompatible or difficult to work with most consumer video editing systems!

     

    About the only software that's guaranteed to work with it is the software that comes with the camcorder. Although a post on the community forum at Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com seems to indicate that JohnF has found a hybrid solution.
