I am using Flash CS4 installed on my c drive. All of my flash files are on a local network. I got a new PC yesterday and now none of my files will publish without the code. The files and locations on the network have not changed. Everything worked fine before the PC was changed.
The error I get is: 1172: Definition com.caurina.transitions:Tweener could not be found.
That is a custom class that you would have to have downloaded and placed into a location (folder named com) somewhere. Since you are likely dealing with a new installation of Flash on your new machine, you probably need to set up the classpath to be able to find the com location.... via Edit -> Preferences -> Actionscript -> Actionscript 3.0 Settings...
This is what I put in the (after your post) Edit -> Preferences -> Actionscript -> Actionscript 3.0 Settings:
J:\Increment 2\ILS\Tech Writers\CBT\Inc_2_CBT\Working_Flash\com\caurina
The caurina folder is actually located at:
J:\Increment 2\ILS\Tech Writers\CBT\Inc_2_CBT\Working_Flash\com\caurina
On frame 1 of the actions layer in flash I have:
import com.caurina.transitions.Tweener;
I still get the same error.
Thanks for your help. I am so frustrated with this I cant see straight now.
