Hi Charlie
I have an online account that has 28 pictures in it that will not completely load and I can not delete them. When I try to delete them my computer locks up and I have to close the browser. I would like to either delete all content in my account, which is these 28 pictures, or delete the account completely and start over. Can you help me. My email address is ronyoung1114@gmail.com thanks - Ron

Hi Charlie,
I hope you can fix it. I got out of work early today and called the number
you gave me earlier and I got transfered several times and no one knew what
I was talking about. They just kept transferring me and putting me on hold.
I finally gave up and just hung up. You are my last hope of this thing
working!
Ron
Hi Again, Ron
Are you using Elements or our stand-alone Photoshop.com Uploader to sync content up to Photoshop.com? But also at times using another application to edit or in some ways touch the same photos? We're trying to figure out what user workflows could create such unexpected characters that get added to the description field.
Thanks,
Charlie
Hi Charlie,
I believe it was set to sync through Elements 8. I have used the uploader since it was fixed and that has worked perfect. I signed into my account online at photoshop.com and changed the settings so it wouldn't sync automatically and also changed my password as a backup so the sync wouldn't be able to access the account too. To be honest, it was so long ago that I don't remember the exact details of how it happened. I let it sit a while before I tried to get it fixed.
Everything seems to be working perfect now!
Thanks again for all your help
Ron
I would like to delete my photoshop account. How do I do that?
my e-mail is tabby4698@yahoo.com
Hello 'lolalola321',
If it is only for changing the URL you would like to delete the account then account deletion is not required. We can change your personal URL without deleting your account and you do not need to go through the account process again.
If you feel that only changing URL will solve your problem, send me your email ID registered with Photoshop.com & new personal URL name and i can change the URL for you.
Please let me know if this helps.
Regards,
Komal
I just want to know how to delete my account....thats all, and there is no answer. All i have seen
is give me your email and ill do it...a user should be able to do it by themselves in account
settings. Can you please help me delete my account? Sorry if i sound rude it's just frustrating.
Hi 'shea29'
I understand what you're saying. We simply don't offer a user-facing tool for account deletion at this time, and I don't know that such a thing is planned. Fwiw, we message users directly, outside of these public forums posts, to protect private and personal details.
Let me share with you a snippet from the note we send users who request account deletion, in hopes it answers some of your questions:
After successfully deleting an account, the links/URLs on all previously shared images, albums, etc will become invalid. Our tool will only delete your data. This action is irreversible. Once the account is deleted, data cannot be reproduced. Your account will remain intact but inactive. If you try to create an new account with the same email address after we deactivate this current account, you will get a message that the account already exists. You can reactivate the account by simply logging in with the same username/password, setting up the personal domain, and accepting the Terms of Service.
Many times, users simply want to change their personal URL while still using the same email address. Deleting the account will not help this. We can rename users' personal URLs using a separate process. Please let us know if changing your personal URL is your true goal.
I'll still send you a private message offline, should you still want to delete your account.

Hi again 'vikingalumni2'
I'm not sure why you don't see "Stop email notifications" under actions. I confirmed I do, even when using a standard user account on our forums. It should look like this:
Alternately, try this:
In a desktop browser, after signing in at http://forums.adobe.com, try going to Your Stuff > Mailing Lists > Email Notifications, and see if you can select and disable the relevant thread.
i want change my personal url cuz i cant post any thing on that website here is what i want to change it to facebook here is my info my email id is chloe.b987@gmail.com
Hi 'lolaloloa321'
I'm not sure I understand. You want to change your custom URL for your photoshop.com account because you are not able to upload to your account? We need to treat these as separate issues, because changing the URL for your account will not solve problems uploading photos.
Or do you simply want to change the URL to something you like better?
