I have created a form, order.pdf, and it seems to send everything fine to the URL i specify (a php file), and the variables pass just fine.
However, when i upload the file to a web server and then access the order.pdf through a link so the pdf opens inside the browser, the submit button does nothing.
That file submits for me both standalone and inside of a browser (WinXP, Acrobat Pro 9, Firefox), but it does not appear as though the PHP script is returning much of a response. What is the response supposed to look like?
Right now the PHP response is not of concern -- it just emails me the print_r of the variables. Im on windows 7, chrome-- and ive submitted a form through chrome before, but my form isnt submitting through the browser..
the issue im having is that the submit button does NOTHING inside my browser. however, the reset button does.
is there an issue that i may be missing?
FYI. If you are using google chrome, the chrome pdf viewer is enabled by default. Type 'about:plugins' without tickmarks in the url bar on google chrome, and go down and disable chrome pdf viewer to revert back to the adobe viewer and enable the form submitting functions.
