Making Mobile Apps with Catalyst?

Hi

 

I've had a search but nothing has come up on this subject.  Can you create mobile/iPhone/Android apps using Flash Catalyst, or anyway of exporting the resulting swf in to Flash Pro to be outputted to mobile?

 

And are there any tutorials?

    I would like to know this as well, I have been looking at Burrito but think Panini will be the way to go for me to create simple interactive book Apps. Any news on Panini and what it will be able to once released?

    Will we be able to package out to an App?

    I just tried importing the SWF created by the FCatalyst into Flash Pro, but all it came up with is a blank SWF!

     

    I'm going to try importing the project into Flash Builder, then exporting it from there, see what I get from that.  There must be a way of doing this?

     

    I want to use flash to develop for iPhone and WP7 but Adobe is not playing the game! *LOL*

    zombee - I just found this thread here http://forums.adobe.com/message/3455781#3455781

    It seems that Panini is NOT the way to go to create mobile Apps as it has not been optimized for mobile yet - so I am going to try using burrito. Read the replies from Chris, I think it explains things a bit better

    Thanks for that, that was an interesting post!  I wish Adobe would pull there fingers out.  I'm on tender hooks waiting for the technology to come out (talking about WP7 here) *LMAO*

    I have successfully used catalyst for a Android project, it does need a lot of optimising, but not as much work as it would be coding by hand!
