So you have created your .pdf, everything seems fine. And you load it into your online application which states "PDF Attachment" and you send it off. An error message comes back "Submissions only, must be an image file." Is there some distinction on type of .pdf, e.g., is one type of .pdf recognized as an image file and another not? Perplexing. I do not think there is something wrong with the online application. I am going from word with both adobe 9 pro (Mac) and at acrobat.com. Oh, I am adding a signature to the .pdf with adobe 9.
