Hi guys,
I'm wondering if it's still at all possible to purchase Truetype (TTF) fonts from Adobe?
I understand the differenced between TTF and OTF, but due to technical restraints we're requiring a TTF version.
I've had a look at various font conversion tools, but while they do the job, I get the feeling an official TTF from Adobe would be much better.
So basically, does anyone know if I can buy the older TTF fonts? The typeface I'm after in particular is 'Myriad Pro SemiCondensed'.
Any help very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
Adobe never produced the main body of their fonts as Truetype;
HOWEVER, at the time of FontFolio 10 they did produce a small subset
of what they called the AdobeWeb group Truetype format, including
Myriad Condensed (not Pro, since Pro features weren't yet available
and are not available in Truetype)
I don't know if they still market these, or whether they're
commercially available. Adobe is now promoting Adobe Web Fonts through
Typekit, a subscription service specific to webpages.
Here's the complete list of what Adobe used to offer:
