2 lenses in 1 converter

stumbled upon this website talking about 2 lenses in 1. have you seen this wide angle macro lens.  i have an entry level nikon d40 and have been pondering to get some lenses.  Due to budget, im trying get a lens that gets me the range but not too expensive as im on a tight budget.

    I would not bother with it,since it looks like it attaches magnetically to your lens. save your money and get nikons 18-200 or something similar from sigma or one of the independent lens makers.. You would quickly get frustrated with the quality in my opinion. what do you use currently? you could try extension tubes or nikons close up filters to enhance what you might own already.

    Thankz Donald for your reply, im having a 18-55 lens, lol.. i would like to get something wider than 18mm but my budget restricts me.

    Thats too bad. the cheapest thing i might suggest would be a sigma 10-20 for 650 bucks,but even thats not cheap.still better than a grand for the nikon,although it is probably a better optic.

    Just an update, bought 0.5x wide angle lens macro lens, and after using it for awhile, the performance is not too bad for what i paid. Happy with it.
