(CONT'D) still automatically is littered in my script even through I select View OFF

I prefer not to have the (CONT'D) added automatically during dialog since a lot of action can happen in a scene with just one person speaking. 

 

I unchecked the menu item View>More & Contd, but the (CONT'D) still show up.  I saw a MORE go away, but these pesky (CONT'D) still show up.

 

How can I turn these off?

    Hi,

     

    We currently do not support turning off automatic character continueds. But, we are working on it and will soon come up with an option to turn them off. Choosing thiat will not add CONT'D automatically in the script from there on.

     

    Do you think this will be sufficient or there should also be an option to turn on/off character continued for particular characters in script?

    It is sufficient just to turn them off completely.  A lot of scripts nowadays don't require this feature anymore.

    Yeah I say discontinue this feature, it's not necessary
