I am using PS3 and would like to create a droplet that will run an action using photomerge to create a panorama automatically. I need to drop 3 images into the droplet so that PS can merge them, flatten resultant layers, then save as a jpg. Is this possible. I have been unable to achieve this.
I don't think this will work. Actions strictly work per file and can only include open files or data from same in interactive sessions. A droplet simply has no way of knowing about these 2 extra files, because there is no way to feed it those file names as a parameter (in Windows terms).

Might be possible with a script, though.
What I don't know is whether you can start a script from a droplet... I'm no scripting expert.
You might want to ask the question on the Photoshop Scripting Forum.

I’m using Bridge or Lightroom to select the component pictures, from which I launch CS5/Photomerge. All I have to do is confirm the selection of “Auto” mode, unless I want a different perspective rendering. If I save a JPG, CS5 saves a flattened copy, without actually flattening the entire workspace.
But I have never seen a panorama that does need manual editing, at least cropping, and how is that accomplished by a script?
