    Hi Rebecca

We are sorry to hear that. Could you please tell us the browser and platform (Mac/PC) that you are using to accesss Story.

Also, could you try cleaning your browser's cache and try launching Story again.

    Thanks

    Ali

I've got the same problem here after I installed the latest update. I'm running story as an Air app standalone but I get only a blank grey screen, no opportunity to login at all

Read this in some other thread, about flash player settings creating blank screen issue. Check if this works

    1. Go to this link where you can manage your global flash player settings:

    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/se ttings_manager03.html

    2. Make sure the "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer" option is checked.

    3. Make sure the slider is set to a value other than 0

    4. Navigate away from the settings page (or close the browser window) to apply the changes.

    5. Run the application that is throwing blank screen

I have tried to log on with three differnet machines and all with the same result. a blank screen.

Nothing has worked for me except that a collaborator me gave their link

    https://story.adobe.com/?sc=story&rc=1&lang=en_US#o

and it works fine so its not the global flash player settings, its the site.

if your link like mine is this which was working till the other day is this https://story.adobe.com/

then there is no login panel.

change your book marks to this perhaps

    Interesting !

Where did you get this link from. Are you able to work normally when you login via this link.?

My mate just had it bookmarked differently I guess. The problem is just seeing the login panel. Every thing now works fine, I also downloaded the offline version which and work with that and no trouble so far. I think working local and syncing to the "cloud" is a safer methodology anyway. Its easy to get burnt, as I did, which can totally screw you if you only rely on the online version and have no back up.

I have been working with the Offline (downloaded application) from home and also accessed my Scripts via the online version of Story - on the Go. I have been always successful with the Sync and have not faced any issues sliding between online and offline mode.

There are some folks who have reported the empty screen issues with the downloaded application as well. Its strange in that case.

I'd recommend syncing often so that you have an online backup, which

you'll love if your local system goes kaput.

    Hi Rebecca,

Its glad to know that your issue is resolved.

So, I suppose, now you are able to work in the desktop version of Story. Right? or Is blank screen problem still present?

    Rebecca,

Have you tried uninstalling and then downloading and installing the desktop application via this link?
