Installer error "Directory can't be written to" errorID=5006

We have another installation issue from one of our customers, and this is the only incident of this error we've ever seen. here is what she says:

"I get to the Air installation and approval to install on the computer step and then the progress bar on the AIR installer just never registers. "

Her log file shows two other AIR programs installing without issue, so I am surprised this isn't working. Please see the full log below.

Hi, can these failed apps be installed to folders except C:\Program Files, such as D:\test_dir?

I don't believe we ever discovered the error. We did switch to the Captive Runtime though, which simplified a lot of these strange OS config issues for us.

It is probably something with permissions, as you have:

"Unhandled exception Error: Directory can't be written to"

try to turn on UAC, or try to fix "Microsoft Installer Service".
