I'm having the same issue which is ridiculous. I've read countless posts on the bug that renders CS4 files useless in CS5 in many cases. I am a student too and I use CS5 at my school for free...but this instance is making me VERY hesitant to buy it for my home. I can't afford to lose this project. I received this message:
"an error occured opening file xxxxx.fla".
I've read on certain posts that some adobe reps have been willing to "look at" and fix some .fla files users like us have been having. If this is so...PLEASE HELP!
