tethering camera

I am trying to tether lightroom to my Nikon d200 .  WHEN THE DIALOGUE BOX COMES UP   IT SAY NO CAMERA DETECTED.  I am using camera control pro ,as well and it detects my camera.  I am confused.

    What O/S do you use?

     

    Quote from the page stating tethered camera support:

    D200 is not supported on Windows.

    So you know why. Seems to be a limitation of the Nikon D200 SDK.

    And you shouldn't expect this to be fixed anytime either, most of us poor D200 users have been waiting since Beta for Adobe to finally include our prefered camera. Release after release, patch after patch, month after month we hope, but to no avail...

     

    I think we have to face it, we will all need new cameras if we want to shoot tethered.

     

    This was clearly the biggest disapointment with LR3 for me.

    Hi,

     

    My Camera is not detected also using LR4.0 and LR4.1 on my laptop.

    chatted with Adobe online and did all he/she asked with no luck.

    Also have done all on the trouble shooting stuff on the Tethering support page.

    The camera will tether on my desk top computer but not on my Laptop..

     

    Nikon D700

    Asus laptop 17"

    6 ram

    windows 7 home

     

     

    any help appreciated..
