The original posting (see under Stuff) appears to be genuine, and the replies may be some funny dysfunction of forum access through email; the user seems quite unaware of the (sometimes double) postings.
Lot of activity in The Lounge today:

Hello? How can you seriously report MTSTUNER, who is one of the most helpful participants in the Photoshop forum, as a spammer? Is this some kind of joke between buddies?
This person posted the same thing a month or so ago in the Photoshop forum, and it feels an awful lot like spam...

I am sorry, but as I do not frequent the Photoshop forum, I was unaware of this. I fully apologize for having in error reported this profile. I cannot go back in time to see why I reported this person, but as you are not the only one to have questioned this, I assume I must have made an error.
(And if you are reading this, my apologies to you as well MTSTUNER!)
This is a little odd.

This poster has responded to both recent and ancient threads, in a variety of types of software, and in a variety of languages.
Several of their successive posts are separated by only a minute or two. It seems unlikely that a human could review and respond to these varied topics so quickly.
There's no commercial intent behind their posts so we're not looking at blatant spam ...but it this some kind of a well-done Turing test?
Wow, The Lounge is THE place to be, at least today!

Hm, I wonder whether maybe Adobe ought to notify the search bots simply not to index things in the lounge... What real benefit does that provide anyway?
That would seem to remove the incentive to spam there, at least with the intent of Search Engine Optimization.

I know I was thinking I should be more patient, but, heck..... Bill's reported that 'nonahpedeno' ID; then OldBob did, now you have. And Acres of Green made a plea to clean the spammers out of the Lounge, and yet..... ![]()

It also seems strange that an earlier post into this thread was deleted, and that the spam posts and posters were not removed.

in case anyone's wondering, the links above are direct copy and paste from the "last post" column. that carries with it the info on the exact thread (x hours ago link) and on the spammer (poster's name - by: x). each one is a different piece of spam.
