Link Channels in Mixer?

Apr 23, 2011 9:49 AM

Hi. Really frustrated here... all I want to do is link a few channels together in the mixer, so that if I change the volume on one, they all change simulataneously. Typically (in other DAWs), this is done by simply highlighting one channel, holding down Shift or Command and clicking other channels, which highlights them all, then maybe right-click and choose" link", or something similar.

I have attmpted this in all kinds of ways in AU 4 for mac to no avail, and searched google many times, but cannot find a way to do this. Please oh please, in the name of all that is intuitive in software GUI, can someone please tell me how to link tracks together in the AU mac version Mixer?

I'm looking fwd to buying AU4 mac when it comes out. THANKS!!!!

mike

We don't have track grouping in this version of Audition, but did you try creating a Bus track and just routing the audio tracks to the Bus?

You'll be able to achieve the same thing depending on how your session is currently routed.
