Processing Raw files from a Nikon on an iPad

Does Photoshop Express or any other app work with raw photos?

    No, not at this time.

     

    You have to remember that the available tablets have very little CPU or GPU processing power available.

    And camera raw processing is very compute intensive.

    So is it your suggestion that camera settings should save a raw and a jpg of each image so that  while traveling I can work with jpgs and later at home I can selectively refine the raw versions?

    I don't have any suggestions here.

     

    Right now I don't see any place for a tablet in my photography workflow, except as a presentation device once the images have been processed.
