Pre-Roll and Post-Roll (exclude selection)

Jun 1, 2011 11:47 AM

A plea to revive a feature I often used in AA3.01: the ability to mark a selection to be cut and then "Play Pre-Roll and Post-Roll (exclude selection)" (shortcut shift+R) to enable the checking of a proposed edit.

I know that in AA CS5.5. you can drag the CTI outside the beginning of the marked area but it is not easy to have continuous play to check that a proposed cut actually "works".

+1 me to! This is a very useful feature, especially for complex cuts where you need to play around to get the pacing just right!
