Adobe Acrobat 9.4 has stopped working

I am trying to modify an already existing pdf file.  I want to add a new text field.  To do this I go to forms and then add or edit a field.  As soon as I do this it shuts down.  I have 9.4.4.  I use windows 7 32 bit.  Help please!

    I suggest you trying to do the Repair from the Help menu. If the problem is not fixed, then I suggest you trying to reinstall Adobe Acrobat.
