CiaB Adobe PrPro CS5.5?

In the past, Curt Wrigley kind of kept us updated on the CiaB series for newer versions of PrPro, but he indicated that he was not going to be involved in writing for that series in the future.

 

I've been searching for any indication of a release date for CiaB CS5.5, but all links lead to the CS5 edition only. Usually, on-line sites, such as Amazon will give projected release dates, and even accept pre-orders. So far - nothing, and also nothing on the Adobe Store site.

 

Anyone have any ideas on even whether Adobe will do such an edition? Maybe there are not even any rumors out there yet?

    My guess is (i have no inside knowledge ) is that the changes in 5.5 do not warrant a re-write.

    There won't be a CS5.5 version of the book. As Curt says, the changes don't warrant a rewrite. My recommendation is to get the CS5 version of the book and then use the resources here to familiarize yourself with the differences.

    That was my thinking too. As I have CiaB PrPro CS5, that saves me time looking and waiting.
