I'm attempting to use SecureSocket but my socket policy file server isn't equipped to handle the TLS socket policy file requests that are being sent.
Is there any documentation as to how to serve up a socket policy file with TLS? Or does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks for the response!
Theoretically that's how it's supposed to work. But, it's not working.
If I use the same socket policy file server with Flash Player 10 and no TLS, it works fine. If I then run the Flash Player 11 incubator and modify the server to use a TLS socket, it sends junk over the wire to port 843 (though the handshake seems to be successful). My server responds with the socket policy file and I still get a security sandbox error and an error indicating that it failed to get the socket policy file.
I tested the Linux incubator player and got slightly different result. The TLS handshake fails indicating that the certificate is expired. The certificate is not expired (just created it and added it to the browser store right before running the test)
