I found an update to 7.5.1 today in Adobe updater for InDesign and InCopy, and I updated.
BAD!
No third-party plug-in works anymore! They were fine in CS5.5 7.5, and now ALL are broken in 7.5.1!!!
What the he.. did Adobe break in this update!?!
I stand corrected: In Tools plug-ins seem to work fine ;-)
DTP Tools are in the proces of fixing things, but Woodwing CS5 plug-ins like Smart Styles that worked fine before now break.
So Adobe may have 'fixed' a bug, in fact they will cause MANY users problems with this update!
FWIW,
Here's a link to the discussion about this on the SDK forum about a month ago:

So I guess not ALL third party plug-ins... BUT you have to update some if it was a while ago that you installed them!
DTP Tools are halfway there with updating, In Tools work fine, Woodwing CS5 plug-ins like SmartStyles (and other 'smart' plug-ins) break and no news on updating them. So it is not ALL third-party, but SOME third party after updating...
Still: the question remains if this update was intended to show already in Adobe Updater at all...?
Please be aware that officially there are no CS5.5 compatible plugins from WoodWing yet. The CS5 version may have worked, but it was not officially a 5.5 compatible version. See http://www.woodwing.com/en/Newsflashes/20110413-woodwing-announces-sup port-for-adobe-creative-suite-5.5. Special 5.5 compatible versions are in the making.
Woodwing's CS5.5 schedule seems to be a shifting thing. I believe that CS5.5 support for SmartConnection was originally slated for May/June and is now listed as 4Q2011.
It's important to understand here that anything that worked in 7.5.0 may have done so by accident, and in an untested fashion... plugins that break in 7.5.1 are ones that were never rebuilt for CS5.5 at all...
