Spurred on by requests from some members of this forum we have added the ability to convert the remaining track automation lanes (except for Track EQ automation as it requires a heap more work).

JL is currently testing the additional functionality (as well as checking I haven't broken something) and a new release should be available in a few days.

I will notify all registered users ans I will try to remember to update this post but checking the web site probably won't hurt.

We are also planning another substantial AATranslator release also within the next few days - no rest for the (extremely) wicked.

Found the following issues:-

1. Clip envelpes/keyframes affected by non english languages (eg where commas are in places where decimal points are expected)

2. The Low Shelf Cutoff and High Shelf Cutoff values in the Parametric EQ may be incorrect in non 48k sessions

Both of these issues have been corrected and once testing is complete expect a new version to be released.

We released version 1.2.0.4 of Ses2Sesx a couple of hours ago.

Essentially it has the following fixes:-

1. Clip envelopes/keyframes affected by non english languages like Italian where commas are in places where decimal points would be in English

2. The Low Shelf Cutoff and High Shelf Cutoff values in the Parametric EQ may be incorrect in non 48k sessions

3. Some FX on Busses (if there is more than one FX) may not get converted

4. Settings for a Parametric EQ on an AA1.5 Buss not getting correctly converted

Version 1.2.0.5 is now available.

It fixes a bug which causes CEP version 2 session files from appearing in the list.

Who would have thought that Cool Edit Pro Version "2.0" was actually version "2.00"

We released version 1.2.0.8 a little while ago.

It now 'sees' Cool Edit Pro 2.1D session files.

2.1D !!! Where did that come from??

Not necessary to grab this release unless you have CEP 2.1D session files that you need to process.

Just a heads up for asian AA users that we have been working to deal with the challenges (for me) of these and other non-english languages. Many thanks to Dino9021 for his patience and efforts in helping us come up with a solution. We have a working version which converts "Traditional-Chinese" as well as "Simple-Chinese".

We just have to make the solution a bit more 'elegant' as well as try and cover a few more languages.

We will have a new version of Ses2Sesx soon.

I have just uploaded a new version of ses2sesx - it contains additional language support.

By selecting the "Set Language Translation Using.." you can choose from one of the following options:-

Simple Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Western, Central European, Greek, Japanese 1, Japanese 2, Vietnamese or Thai

Largely untested but known to work for 'Traditional Chinese' feel free to let me know if there are any problems

Need a bourbon now.......

Edit: Should have waited for that bourbon

If you downloaded it in the last 20 minutes best you download it again - damn thing was stuck on Korean

Sigh......
