f4f specification

Hello,

 

Is there a place that spcifies f4f standard.

The http://www.adobe.com/products/httpdynamicstreaming/ link shows me f4v standard.

    Can you please give some idea as to whats the basic difference between f4v & f4f ?

     

    Can I use f4f generated by my software (after getting access to specification under NDA) with flash access to add DRM ?

    F4V is almost similar to the basic mp4 ISO specification. F4F is a fragmented version of the F4V where the audio/video data is stored in mutliple mdat files instead of a single mdat, so that the files can be delivered in chunks, and can be 'appended' while playback.

     

    Yes, if you are able to spec out your own F4f, i think you should be able to add DRM support much like what it is now.

    Hi,

     

    Adobe Http Dynamic Streaming SDK already does simple fragmentation and fragmentation with DRM enabled using Flash access, which you are also trying to do. Can I have your contact so that someone from adobe can contact you.
