Preview in browser not working, please help

I am using Creative Suite 5, running on OS 10.6.3, Mac book pro intel 2 core duo.

 

Everything else works, but in dremweaver I can't preview in browser what I'm working on!

Preview in Firefox won't do a thing, and in safari I get a message saying Unable to launch...

 

I already deleted the browsers on the list and re-added them. I uninstalled creative studio and installed it again, and the problem persists.

 

This way I can't work at all with dreamweaver, I can't test my site.

Extremely frustrating, I have spent hours and hours trying to solve the problem and can't understand what could be causing it.

 

Does it have something to do with my internet connection??

 

Please help!

    Hi

     

    Is the 'Unable to launch' a system or dreamweaver message?

     

    If from dreamweaver, then you path to the browser is probably incorrect. Also what type of page and content are you trying to view?

    This is a dremweaver message.

     

    What is says exactly is "Unable to launch [path to application] Please be sure that this application exists and that there is enough memory to run it."

     

    I'm tryiing to preview a simple index page, image a couple of buttons, that's it.

    Thank you both for your help.

     

    I would post a screenshot of the message, but I have solved the problem!

    I had been struggling with this for months, funny, a couple of insights and I figure out what was wrong:

     

    My home had the same name as my hard drive.

    I changed the name of one of them (the hard drive) and preview in browser started running smoothly in both browsers.

    Please tell me what you mean by "same name as my hard drive" above. I'm getting the same error message and not able to correct problem as you did.

    Needed to check "Preview Using Temporary File" in DW Preferences.
