Are you importing the video as a single file (e.g., a single MXF file), or are you importing a folder of stills (i.e., multiple DNG files)?
If you are importing a folder of DNG files, simply select the first DNG file in the folder (don't do a Select-All or try to import the enclosing folder). The CinemaDNG importer constructs the virtual clip by looking at the file name of the selected DNG file, and importing all other DNG files in the folder which are sequentially numbered. For example, if you select the file Frame00001.DNG, then the importer will also look for files Frame00002.DNG, Frame00003.DNG, etc., until there are no more files which match the template of the first file's naming format.
