What Program is best for my needs?

Jul 30, 2011 12:59 PM

I am currently using Photoshop for my printing needs, but its overkill for what I need and use it for. All I actually need is a program that can do the following two things:

-Auto Smart Fix Photos

-Print Picture Packages

I dont need anything else. Is there anything out there that is better suited for my needs? Although what I do is very simple, I do need it to do it as fast as possiable and in high volume. On average I need to auto smart fix 200 photos an hour.

Thank you for you help.

    Welcome to the forum.

I do not have a list of all capabilities, but I think that Photoshop Elements might handle your needs. It is a quite powerful, with but a few pro-level functions missing, that are in the full PS. It also has a lot more automation provided. You can probably find if the necessary functions ARE in PSE, on the Photoshop Elements Forum.

    Good luck,

You do realize you are not going to get the best result many times trying to smart fix images in a one touch methodology?  I guess if you are not particular about the end result, then auto whatever will suit your needs. sometimes its magic and sometimes disaster.

"Auto Smart Fix" is an oxymoron.  I'm with Donald on this.

If you already have Photoshop and are actually using it, it makes absolutely no sense to look into Ps Elements, which in my opinion is overpriced by about $90.

I had actually bought a copy of Ps Elements to use on a cheap Windows laptop but I found it so inadequate and emasculated that I successfully demanded my money back from Adobe.
