InDesign CS5.5 Autoplay not working

Why won't my movie auto play on iPad even though I've checked the  auto play box in overlay creator?

Also, is there any way of getting rid of the tracker bar that shows while video is playing?

Thx - its driving me potts.

    Is it set to full screen or inline?

    Hi Bob, thanks for your quick response.

    Inline I think, although I havent noticed anything that gives me the choice. Where would that be?

    I have the movie bleeding off the page in an effort to crop out the progress bar, and the file is MP4.

    It works fine using desktop viewer but not on the ipad content viewer....

    Do not bleed interactive elements off the page.

     

    There is a choice for Play Full Screen. If that's not checked it will play in line.

    Thanks Bob, I see now... I'm not very experienced in this sort of thing so appreciate your help. Is there a way to remove the video progress bar thingumy at the bottom? It stops the page looking as slick as i would like.

    Andy,

     

    I was anxiously awaiting the answer, because my video was doing the same thing.  However, once I  uploaded to the folio and opened it on my ipad, the bar is gone.  Try testing it on the device and see if you still have the progress bar.

    the blue progress bar on the desktop viewer is a AIR client thingand does

    appear when you view your folio on the desktop or on android.

    the ipad uses a different progressbar, if you enable video controls in the

    overlay creator.
