FrameMaker 9.0p230 cannot generate pdf properly

I used three ways to generate the .book file to a pdf.

1. save as .pdf

2. print book as .prn

3. print book as .ps

However, some parts are missing in the three ways.

Please emphasize on what is missing. The 3 ways mentioned by you are different routes of pdf creation and some behavior is expected to be different in each.

lucy.lu, in addition to the Hotfix that is referenced above which fixes the issue of text missing from PDFs, the version of FM that you are using has been updated several times and you should definitely update -- p230 had several problems that will almost certain cause difficulties.

Note that FM updates are not cumulative, so you need to install each update patch in sequence, either from within FM's Help menu or else by downloading from the updates webpage:
